Please note: The cafe will be open for beer, wine & coffee service - but no food. Feel free to bring food, or have food delivered! We will provide modest snacks.

Soul Reflect hails from Minneapolis MN and is the creator behind BurginBeat. Making her own beats and being a lyricist as well, gives her a unique and original sound unlike anything out there today. Her debut solo album, Plato's Theory is out this year, and promises to bring originality with conscious lyrics. Soul Reflect has also joined with a band to form Shadow Souls for an excellent mix of live music and lyrics.
Adina K. Burke is a Spoken Word artist, writer and open mic night aficionado living and working in Minneapolis. Adina is an individual who doesn't like talking about herself very much and instead insists on writing about herself. Born in 1990 with a sweet taste in her mouth for cynical and dry wit, such characteristics can be found in her work and overall demeanor. Much to her credit, she has found a way to make this seem incredibly endearing.

In 2009, she played a key role in the Hip-Hop Theater Production “Eliminating Oppression One Ink Shell at a Time”. From 2009-14 she hosted the Freedom of Xpression open mic at the historic Capri Theatre in North Minneapolis. In 2013 she released her first CD titled “Ladies First” and in 2014 she released her single “Hidden Curriculum”. Azteca has been an educator in North Minneapolis for over 10 years and is currently working on her first screen play.
